Nepal is home to more than 212 species of wild mammal species, 889+ bird species, ca.200 species of herpetofauna, more than 650 species of butterflies. Many of such wildlife are commonly found in our backyards, community forests and farmscapes but we are very far from information on our “WILD NEIGHBOURS”. Due to various anthropogenic activities and unplanned developmental activities, they are facing survival threats. We are in the mission of community based conservation of our ‘WILD NEIGHBOURS’ in the community forests, farmscapes, even in the backyards.
